Birdie

The Ingo Maurer Birdie is a chandelier of a special kind. This luminaire comes with twelve low-voltage bulbs (no halogen). The socket is attached to the long flexible wire and added to each socket there is a pair of wings out of goose feathers.

You may individually design size and shape of the Birdie by rotating, bending and stretching the luminaire arms.

For larger ceiling heights, Ingo Maurer offers an optional suspension accessory with a cable length of 300 cm. Three transformers are integrated into the canopy.

The Ingo Maurer Birdie is available either with red or with transparent cables. Two extra illuminants are included with delivery as special illuminants are needed. Ingo Maurer has this illuminant produced especially for his luminaires.
